Dressed in his impeccable white suit, Tom Wolfe also stands out in a crowd for his literary experiments in New Journalism. Best-selling author of The Right Stuff and Bonfire of the Vanities, Wolfe is still widely recognized for The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, a nonfiction story of the hippie era, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2008. The author of 12 nonfiction books and four novels, Wolfe’s latest fiction, Back to Blood, is set in Miami and examines the complexities of immigration.
