Téa Obreht was born in Belgrade and wrote her novel, The Tiger’s Wife, at age 25. It was selected by The New York Times as one of the five best novels of 2011. Obreht brings her considerable talent to the Lectures in a talk about her first book that has established her as one of the most vibrant and original writers of our time.
