Gaiman has been one of the top science fiction and fantasy authors for over 20 years and is a major figure in the comic book industry. He’s best known as the writer of the DC series Sandman which ran from 1988 to 1996, the first comic book series to ever receive the World Fantasy Award for best short story. His vast backlist of movies, short stories, novels, children’s books, and comics contains popular award winners: Neverwhere, Stardust, American Gods, Coraline, Anansi Boys, and his latest, The Graveyard Book.
