Jennifer Haigh is a New York Times bestselling author for her novels Faith and The Condition. Her forthcoming book, News from Heaven, is a collection of short stories which have been previously published in multiple magazines including The Atlantic Monthly. The ten stories are set in the mining town of Bakerton, Pennsylvania, which is a world familiar to readers of Jennifer's second novel, Baker Towers. The New York Times described Haigh as "an expert natural storyteller with an acute sense of her characters' humanity." A graduate of Iowa Writers' Workshop, Jennifer has been published in The Best American Short Stories 2012 and has won multiple awards for her books of fiction.
A book signing will follow Jennifer Haigh's talk and reading. Copies of Haigh's new book, News from Heaven, will be provided by Mystery Lovers Bookshop, along with selections from Haigh's backlist.
